The ECMS

 Continuing the successful development of recent concert seasons in the Ehrbar Hall, the Ehrbar Chamber Music Society Vienna begins its 2025/26 season.
Founded by pianist Biliana Tzinlikova, violinist Klara Flieder, and cellist Christophe Pantillon, the ECMS has now established a clear artistic profile.

The coming season will feature familiar musicians as well as new names, adding exciting perspectives to the series. The promotion of young talent remains a central concern and an essential part of the artistic vision. The 2025/26 season will feature the multi-award-winning Austrian violinist Leonhard Baumgartner with duo partner Liam Dugelay, as well as mezzo-soprano Maria Hegele, winner of the 2025 Haydn Singing Competition.

The ECMS stands for stylistic diversity, artistic excellence, and inspiring, friendly musical encounters on stage. The concert series continues to focus on the great standard repertoire of piano chamber music, enriched by rarities from the fringes of the established repertoire.

The Ehrbar Hall has become one of the most popular venues for top-class chamber music performances in Vienna. The Ehrbar Chamber Music Society is a centre of attraction for a discerning audience.

Building on the success of past concert seasons at the Ehrbar Hall, the Ehrbar Chamber Music Society Vienna is entering the 2026/27 season with renewed vigor.
Founded by pianist Biliana Tzinlikova, violinist Klara Flieder, and cellist Christophe Pantillon, the series stands for artistic excellence, stylistic diversity, and a vibrant concert culture. At the same time, the ECMS family continues to grow: new, outstanding chamber musicians at the highest international level are expanding the concert series’ profile.
At its core—out of a deep-seated conviction—remains the promotion of young artists, a cause the ECMS has championed since its inception. In the 2026/27 season, the Viennese piano duo Duo Giocoso, violist Laeticia Lermer, oboist Luisa Deitemeyer, and pianist Gabriel Meloni will bring this focus to life with freshness, originality, and a palpable artistic presence.
The programs combine great piano chamber music with deliberate discoveries beyond the established repertoire—and thrive on musical dialogue.
The third concert in the series will feature a special highlight with a program celebrating the Beethoven anniversary. The festive finale will be the traditional Viennese evening marking the 150th anniversary of the Ehrbar Hall.
The Ehrbar Hall thus remains a venue for special musical encounters. And the ECMS remains a staple for an audience seeking both quality and atmosphere in equal measure.
